Prayer

I've never worked so hard in my entire life. I don't think that my resources have ever been tapped this much. My days are running into the 16 hr range and I'm so tired. This week I drove nearly 500 miles. That time alone has been a big adjustment. Then on Friday, I was asked to take 9 more students. I am now teaching five classes; I defend my thesis on March 5th which means it has to be finished by Feb 17th; I'm also Wesley's room mom, the primary secretary and I think I have another job that I can't remember right now. Oh yeah, wife and mother-those pesky big ones.

This afternoon I have holed myself up in my room working on my new syllabus (the new students start on Mon) and I decided before I began work that I would kneel in prayer and ask for help. I just wanted some encouragement like, "Meem, you can do what I have asked you to do." And so I went to work. Here it is now 4 hours later and I have finished grading one class, completely designed a new course and am working on my lesson plans for next week and its only 9:30! I didn't have any overpowering spiritual insight except to feel the Savior say, "I will walk with you along this hard road."
