2 Nephi 31:20

This last week at my institute class we were discussing the passage in 2 Nephi when Nephi gives counsel on how to obtain eternal life after being baptized. He says, "Wherefore ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life." I love these comforting words. The image of a brightness of hope has carried me through some of the darkest times in my life. I decided in that class that I wanted to share some of the bright moments in my life. Moments when the light shone through the thick fog that sometimes surrounds us. The world is an increasingly frustrating, tough place to be--no matter what your faith is. Perhaps, this blog can be a tiny key hole to let some light shine through.
